Rogue River Blue is a rare cow's milk blue cheese from Oregon that was selected in 2009 as the Best in Show at the American Cheese Society.

 

Rich, creamy, and somewhat sweet, Rogue River Blue is covered in grape leaves macerated in Oregon pear brandy that impart an earthiness to the flavor. Rouge River is made in the Rogue Creamery, founded by renowned cheese-maker Ig Vella, and is so rare that customers must often wait six months to purchase it.
